Goodman, M.D. is a Board-certified Rheumatologist who has been caring for patients in the Ark-La-Tex for 30 years. Dr. Goodman and the ARC staff of caring, compassionate healthcare professionals utilize their expertise and years of experience combined with cutting-edge technology and the latest treatments. Dr. Goodman is certified by the International Society for Clinical Densitometry to read and interpret bone density tests. Board-certified in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology, Dr. Goodman has been in private practice since the founding of The Arthritis and Rheumatology Clinic in December 1987. He was in private practice at Highland Clinic for two years before coming to the Arthritis & Rheumatology Clinic. A Louisiana native, Dr. Goodman is a graduate of Jesuit High School in Shreveport, Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, and the Louisiana State University School of Medicine (now LSU Health Sciences Center School of Medicine) in Shreveport. Dr. Goodman's post graduate training includes an internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina and a fellowship in Rheumatology at the prestigious University of Tennessee Center for the Health sciences in Memphis, Tennessee.
